What can I expect?
Local and national companies will have booths set up in the hall. Many will post their current open positions so you can decide the companies to target. Recruitment specialists from these companies will be there to meet with applicants.
Why attend a CareerQuest?
Attending a CareerQuest is a great way to complement your job search efforts. You get the opportunity to meet face-to-face with prospective employers, share with them how your unique skills and experience make you a good candidate and get a leg-up on other applicants.
How should I dress?
Your attire is tied to the job you are seeking. Most attendees are business casual or more formal. Remember that first impressions are important, particularly at an event like this where you’re going to want recruiters to remember you. Dress to impress!
When you register for an event, you’ll get a registration slip – print this out and bring it with you. In addition, bring copies of your resume. You are encouraged to upload your resume prior to the event. All resumes uploaded before the event, as well as those turned in at the event, are included in a database available to exhibitors. Still, we’ve learned that it’s helpful to have copies of your resume with you when you meet with targeted companies.

A wide variety of local and national companies have exhibited at our events in the past As we get closer to the event, we'll be promoting current exhibitors.
What should I do after the event?
Following up with recruiters after the event is important – and often overlooked. Consider writing a thank you to companies you’re interested in working for.
